A/N: This is my first Merlin fic so any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.
( Summary: The creature was now pacing back and forth, eyes set on Merlin who was keeping perfectly still. He had the sneaking suspicion that it was toying with him. As some of you may know I will be returning to cardiff for new years and staying until the 4th of january.

First it was in the middle of nowhere (seriously, some random place in the middle of a field in hatfield, I kid you not) then half of the ppl supposed to be going dropped out.
But when it got going it was fine. The food was reasonable, there was free alcohol (I know i dont drink but still...) and of course as one would expect the music was awful. The dance floor was always full for songs that were made before I was born and I managed to empty it by playing a song that would normally fill the dance floor at parties I usually go to. Says alot about the age range doesn't it?
All in all the evening was a success as I scored alot of party loot. That being:
3 bottles of good (I'm a assured) red wine,
2 boxes of really expensive chocolates,
4 DVDs
1 pack of cards,
Some marbles
